You may have begun a garden, or started collecting equipment and supplies for Homesteading, or Off Grid living, or even Permaculture. Yet, if you haven’t lived in your car for more than a week, slept in a tent and cooked your meals and used the bathroom on the ground, then you have no idea what real Homesteading is. In the 1800’s the Federal Government gave many people 106 acres in what was called the Homestead Act. They left their homes and went to this land and started building. Now that you Understand what Homesteading is you have a decision to make. What are you going to call that goal you have set for yourself and your family?

Starting : Phase One
Communication is the key to starting anything new. First you need to communicate with those around you to make sure everyone is on board with the decision.
